On Tuesday, August 24, 2010, OFNHP President Linda Rohman and other local Labor leaders attended a breakfast with AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and AFL-CIO Oregon President Tom Chamberlain.

In his address to local leaders, President Trumka outlined his priorities to keep the labor movement moving forward, as well as his thoughts on how to turn around our sagging economy.

Registered nurses are split on the impact on patient care of newly implemented electronic medical records and charting systems in their hospitals, according to the findings of the first national survey of nurses on computerized records.
